Description

Blue Gum Park, also known as Kurangga, is a green space in Adelaide, South Australia.

It offers various outdoor recreational activities and facilities for visitors of all ages. The park features BMX bike tracks, the Tree Climb Aerial Adventure Park, Glover Playground, basketball and netball courts, sporting fields, and a petanque piste. It is covered with native vegetation and has the South Park Lands Creek. Guided walks are available once a year, but visitors can also take a self-guided tour using the Trail Guide. The best time to visit is in spring when the weather is mild and the plants are in full bloom. The park is easily accessible by car, public transport, or bike. The sporting fields within the park are licensed to Pulteney Grammar School and the Adelaide Harriers, and new conditions on these licenses are expected to lead to improvements in the park. For more information, visit the Adelaide City Council's page for the South Park Lands or find Park 20 on Google Maps.
